- Candidate has to clear SNAP Test which is going to be held on November 20, 2009.
- Graduate of any faculty of any Statutory University with 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST) at graduation level.
- Candidates passing degree examination by part-time/ correspondence/ external course/ Distance Learning, or in one sitting are not eligible.
- Graduates in IT/computer science/computer application; or in engineering or with IT related experience will be preferred.
- Candidates appearing for Final year bachelor's degree examinations may apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks. (45% for SC/ST).
SCIT works out the final score for consideration of the shortlist on the following basis. Final Score is calculated by adding below scores achieved by candidate:
- SNAP Score
- 10 marks for scoring more than 60% in each of 10th, 12th and aggregate of qualifying graduate exam
- 5 marks for Engineering Graduates
- 5 marks for Graduates with Computers Science/ Computer application/ IT
- 5 marks for relevent full time Work experience above 18 months as on 1st September 2009, if any,
- 5 marks for scoring more than 25% marks in each section of SNAP Test
This clearly shows that SCIT does not judge students only on their SCORE of Test. SCIT also undertakes the consideration such as candidate's professional experience, his curricular performance and his IT knowledge.

- MBA - System : 72.00
- Software Solutions & Management : 62.75
